I'm Shelby - the one behind the lens here at Shelby Drake Photography! Married to my amazing husband, Nathan. And mother to 2 beautiful and wild boys.
I am a Lifestyle + Wedding photographer - We are currently located southeast of Columbus, OH - about 20 minutes outside of the city. Photographing around Central Ohio, and beyond.
Photography has always been a huge passion of mine. Whenever I could have a camera in my hand, I did! I have been photographing families for about 9 years now, and weddings for around 5 years.
I'm a sucker for a good family session. Capturing all the milestones. From newborn, to first year, all the way to when your kiddos graduate. I am here to capture the real and the raw - The snuggles, the love, the grumpy faces, the goofy ones.
I like to explain my photography style as lifestyle - I will pose you, but I also want to just let you be you and have fun. I bring zero stress to my sessions and do my best to make it the least most stressful for you also.
When I first started photographing, I had zero interest in capturing weddings. Like, zero. But a friend of mine from high school convinced me back in 2017 to capture their big day. And my passion has continued to grow and grow for it. Nothing beats seeing 2 people so madly in love with one another and capturing them becoming one and starting their forever.
